Yuki Tsunoda gives the reaction to racist abuse according to Franco Colapinto Incident

Yuki Tsunoda believes that some Fractions from Franco Colapintos have to learn to control their passion after being exposed to an online abuse.

Tsunoda was at the receiving end of abuse, with a considerable part of it being racist after having a practice incident with Franco Colapinto on Friday.

Why was Yuki Tsunoda suspended racist abuse?

During the training, Tsunoda appeared on Colapinto and had to withdraw to avoid a collision because his lap was endangered.

Tsunoda was not impressed by the actions of the Argentinian driver and in Colapintos towards the direction, with some social media comments wrongly indicated that he had shown Colapinto his middle finger with anger.

The incident annoyed a minority of Colapinto’s extensive fan base that took over Tsunodas Social Media sites in order to flood it in Spanish with cruel and evil remarks -of which a lot could only be described as racist in nature.

It is not the first time that some Colapinto fans showed such vitriol levels, and former Alpine -F1 racing driver Jack Doohan was regularly abuse and mockery when he occupied the racing seat with Colapinto during the first Grand Prix weekend.

After he had overcome his social media through the abuse, Tsunoda spoke to the subject after his creepy qualification accident from which he had appeared due to preventive examinations after he had returned after his scary qualification accident.

“Yes. I know,” he said in response to a question from Planetf1.com about whether he was disturbing the situation.

“I heard about it, but to be honest, I think it’s not just about me if I heard right.

“They go everywhere to be honest, and then they go for Jack (Doohan) – Jack did nothing wrong and they go for it. So that’s a bit unnecessary.

“It was normal for you to be frustrated when you have traffic and I got it several times. I think I have the right to say something, but I didn’t say anything wrong or a very bad thing.

“I only show the frustration, and that’s it.

“I know that you support the driver of your own country, but there is always a line that you can say, I think.

“I say that … not because of myself or not what you tell me, but you said too many things to doohan, and I don’t think he was going in a pleasant way.

“It is good that you have energy, but only control, and I have the feeling that you can use the energy in the right way and in a much better way.”

Tsunoda said whether he believes that the situation must be firmly addressed to Colapinto itself, which may have an impact on his fan base, he believes that the Argentine does in his words and actions to deal with the problems.

“If things go on and it gets worse, F1 should say something at some point,” he summarized.

Shortly afterwards, Colapinto spoke to the topic and said: “I know that they are extremely passionate and that they are always very hard for humans.

“You have to give respect, and we all want that.

“There is a lot of hatred on social media, and I would think that. So, of course we always try – for all drivers – to keep it respectful and keep it calm there.”

On Thursday, Colapinto said that towards the end of 2024 he was “worse” after his debut that the attention for him was for attention and fought for the grid, and pretended to show respect for his competitors.

You know, the Argentine fans and I think Latin American fans – they are very passionate, very euphoric and they love to support their athletes and people that they feel close to them, ”he said.

“You have always been there and always have a very supportive one. But yes, I think we always try to keep respect for all drivers on the net – this is the main thing that the fans should do and what you should improve.

“In the end it is the same. I had to manage this last year. I had a little time to read a few things, and now I run and everything is being deleted again. So yes, concentrate here.”

Jamie Campbell-Walter, part of Colapinto’s management team, commented on the situation in the pre-season when he revealed a post about X to call Colapinto fans to stop the social media accounts of the alpine team, to end “bullying and annoying”.

“The haters who believe to help Franco. They harm him more than well,” wrote Campbell-Walter.

“Insults for the team, Jack and sometimes for other Alpine supporters.

“Franco and we all who support him are fans of the entire team, Pierre and Jack.

“Be passion, but not abuse and arrogance. Franco’s time will come, but not that, you will achieve the opposite.”
