Reports about layoffs in various casinos in Las Vegas have been appeared for several months and raises questions about whether the game industry is about to be kovid shortly before the economic boom.

Experts and managers say that the adaptations of the employees are strategic, part of a long -term shift in the direction of greater efficiency and profitability in a post -pandemical market.

However, since some operators report solid financial returns and still important reinvestment projects, the recent layoffs raise an urgent question: Why do some of the city’s largest casino operators reduce their workforce, even if the general demand for Las Vegas is still relatively strong?

“This seems to be part of a long -term trend to try to keep slimmer operations that began during the (large) recession,” said Amanda Belarmino, assistant professor at William F. Harrah College of Hospitality from UNLV.
