West Virginia predicts to organize brutally hard region with defending champs

At the end of the day everyone West Virginia Wishes when it comes to the NCAA tournament selection is the opportunity to organize a regionally. The climbers have not done this since 2019, and the last time was 1955.

In the last week of the regular game of the season, the mountaineers have a record 40-10 and sit at the Big 12 conference. He only needs one victory (or a defeat in Arizona State) to conquer the regular season title.

In the latest NCAA tournament projection of D1baseball, you have WVU as 16th and final team, in which a regional host team is organized, which means that the most challenging pool from teams would come to Morgantown. Under this projected group there are (2) Tennessee, (3) Virginia and (4) Holy Cross.

Tennessee just won the College World Series a year ago and is worth organizing its own region. The Cavaliers are a shabby pile and are known for making deep runs in the tournament and making it into College World Series seven times since 2009.

In the next few weeks, the WVU can either help a regionally in Morgantown to become a little easier or to lose hosting as a whole if they suffer a collapse of the late season.
