Washington Capitals need Alex Ovechkin on Torscoeshet again

The Washington Capitals and Carolina Hurricanes appear in game 3 of their Stanley Cup Playoffs Matchup with the series 1-1. The two cadres of the Metropolitan Division are evenly coordinated in many ways, but the caps have a pronounced offensive advantage in the largest top scorer in NHL history.

In two games, however, the Hurricanes removed the risk of captain, captain Alex Ovechkin. He is goalless and senseless to start the series, but he has to get out of cutting to help Washington regain the dynamics.

The sticks made Ovi useless by keeping the pace at a very high level. The shooting skills of the NHL of the biggest scorer did not swan a little in its 20 season, but it cannot be denied that the foot speed decreases. After the hurricanes forced Ovechkin to pursue the puck, keep it out of the offensive zone and demand that he take shorter shifts.

There is hope for Ovechkin, despite the early tension of the hurricanes. The caps showed an incredible adaptation when they reorganized their power play formation in game 2. The layer worked and defender John Carlson therefore campaigned for a beauty of a goal.

What this shows is how capable the capitals are in adjustment. Between Ovechkin’s head coach of Ovechkin, Spencer Carbery, the caps are a jug about a team. So they secured the title and the top seeds of the metropolitan division in the Eastern Conference.

If the capitals can unlock this easy solution or adaptation, the best goal scorer can be on the right track again. After the series is knotted aside, Washington needs its captain to get back on the goal.

With his next goal, Ovi will continue to contribute to his Hall of Fame CV. He is a goal when he binds Pittsburgh Penguins’ captain Sidney Crosby for most playoff street goals of an active player. According to NHL PR, Ovechkin currently has the fourth highest destination per game in the history of the league (0.49 goals per game). He only heads Mario Lemieux, Brett Hull, Dino Ciccarelli and Maurice Richard.
