After Virginia Tech Softball had expanded a regional Tech Softball, he traveled to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to start with his NCAA tournament on Friday.

The Hokies (41-11) will compete against Belmont on Friday at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN+. If you win, you will compete against Jackson against Jackson against No. 15 on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. She would bring a loss to the excretion class on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.

“We had an additional training day on Monday and we really went as hard as possible during training to prepare for the weekend,” said Emma Lemley, Pitcher by Virginia Tech, on Thursday in a media call. “The competition from here is steep. These are the best teams in the country.”

Belmont (40-14) won the Missouri Valley Conference Championship with tournament winners against Bradley, North Iowa and South Illinois. The Bruins boast Maya Johnson in a circle, who leads the country with 355 – 73 more than anyone else on the strikes. Johnson is fifth in the country with an average of 1.24 Run average in 197 Innerings.

“We know that she throws a good promotion ball,” said Hokies catcher Zoe Yaeger. “(We will) try to meet hard line drives – basically what we did all year round. Nothing changes. We have exposed to straps all year round, good resources, so we do what we have done all year round.”

The field of Johnson and Hokies Center, Bre Peck, alluded to Travel softball and adapted former teammates who turned into the nation’s strike champion and the all-time Homerun leaders of Virginia Tech.

The Bruins play a small ball. Although they have four rackets with an average of over 0.300, their Homerun leader Brenna Blume only has six bombs. In contrast, Virginia Tech Right Field Cori McMillan has more Homeruns (30) this season than the entire Belmont team (24).

Virginia Tech and Belmont have already played-a 13: 1 victory on February 10, 2024. During this game, Peck and First Basic Meman Emily Leette, while the Pitcher Emma Mazzarone only gave up two hits and a run over five inner ones.

“We have to give Belmont 100 percent of what we have before we can take care of Alabama,” said Yaeger. “Every game will be the same. You will get the same virginia tech softball as Alabama on Saturday.”

Alabama generally relies on two arms: Catelyn Riley and Jocelyn Briski. Riley has a 10-3 record with an ERA of 2.59 ERA in 110 ⅔ Innerings, while Briski has an ERA of 2.78 ERA and 16-12 record in 153 ⅓ Frames.

The Hokies and Tide agreed in Tuscaloosa at the beginning of this season and divided a two-game set. Tech won the first game 2-1 behind Gutsy Pitching by Emma Lemley and two games in the left field of Lyla Blackwell. Alabama found Virginia Tech’s pitching in the second matchup for a 9-1 win for the home team.

“I (the experience in tuscaloosa) will not be much different. Even in this February games, Alabama grabs a good amount and her fans are super committed – and ours too,” said Lemley. “I think it’s getting a little crazier, a little louder, but I don’t think it’s something that we are not confronted with.”

Jackson State won the double elimination of Southwestern Athletic Conference tournament with victories against South, Bethune-Cookman, Alabama State and Florida A & M. Ka’liyah Gipson and Jace Jackson lead the Tigers (29-23) on average with 0.445 and 0.436 marks. Jackson also has six Homeruns, most of them in the team.

The tigers mainly use Brooklyn Morris, Jorgina Gant and Sofia Gonzalez in a circle. During this time, Morris collected a team high of 133 pictures with a record of 13-8, 3.53 ERA and 49 strikes. Gant has a 9-7 record with an ERA of 3.83 and 38 strikeouts over 102 ⅓ frames. In another 62 ⅓ Innings, Gonzalez won a 7-5 record, 5.05 deserved run average and 20 punchouts.

Michelle Chatfield Michelle Chatfield in Virginia Tech missed the ACC tournament after having suffered a violation of the left wrist during the regular season finale against Florida. Pete d’Amour, head coach of Virginia Tech, said she was daily.

“Today she took a few fluctuations, some swings yesterday,” said d’amour. “She looked really good on Tuesday, so we’ll see when playing time happens.”

After the Hokies won 17 games in a row in the middle of the season, they stumbled a little on the track. They dropped two out of three games to Pitt and then lost a series against Florida State and culminated in a no-grille for seminol arm jazzy Francik. Then Tech won the last game against Florida State and defeated North Carolina in the Acc-tournament quarter-finals, before he had a lead from seven runs to Clemson, the pitchers of the Hokies difficulty the ball in the middle of a rod.

“I am not naive enough to believe that this weekend means nothing, but you go out and you play hard and you stay concentrated – then you see what happens,” said d’amour. “Obviously we want to win. If you play well, you have the opportunity to win. I think one of the things that were lost last week with the rain game was that we defeated Florida State, we defeated North Carolina, and for five innings against Clemson we saw all of what happened. Then came the rain, and for this two and one and one and a help game that were pretty.
