Vettori-all-groller-match added to UFC 318

According to a report by Alexander Behonin from Mmamania, a resentment match between Marvin Vettori #10 and Brendan Allen was added to the UFC 318 card for July 19 in New Orleans, Louisiana. This is not the first time that this fight was booked. In April last year, the two rankings with the middle weights were to overwrite a UFC Fight Night Card. However, Vettori suffered an injury that was forced to withdraw from the fight and was replaced by Chris Curtis. Curtis would defeat all in her reservations by shared by shared decision after Curtis defeated him from TKO a few years earlier in her first fight.

A few weeks later, after 2024 Pfl Playoffs 2, a video from Vettori and everyone appeared on a casino floor that got into a fight. Vettori currently has a duel skate behind him, where he lost both Jared Cannonier and Roman Dolidze by unanimous decision. He is looking back into the column for his first defeat in his professional MMA career. This will be a big challenge for Vettori, while he also deals with the tragic loss of his younger brother, who recently died in a house fire.

Since all of Chris Curtis was defeated in her first fight, he would make a heptathlon, which included a retirement victory against Curtis. He would then lose against the now rated candidate in the Nassourdine Imavov division and then rising candidate Anthony Hernandez, both by unanimous decision. Just like Vettori, everyone wants to bounce back from the first defeat of his professional MMA career. Both fighters cannot afford any further loss because a third loss for both fighters could put their status in danger as a first -class middleweight.

Also on the map is the headliner of an excited rubber match between Max Holloway and Louisiana’s own Dustin Poirier. This fight is for the BMF title that Holloway is currently holding. The two previously fought against each other in 2019 in 2019 and for the preliminary UFC Lightweight Championship, where Poirier won both fights. This will be Holloway’s last chance to win a victory against Poirier, as this will be Poirier’s last MMA fight.
