Update the WWE contract status of Chelsea Green

Chelsea Green got himself with some social media posts last week and played that her figure lost the US championship of women against Zelina Vega, but a new report shows that Green stays with WWE for a while. According to Fightful Select, Green recently signed a new WWE deal with several years, although the exact length of its new contract is currently not known. Fightful reported that her deal should run later in 2025 before signing again.

Green was released by WWE in April 2021, but returned to the company at the Royal Rumble 2023. Since her return, Green has won alongside her run as the first US champion of WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Gold. In the summer of 2023 she won the day gold together with Sonya Deville, but Deville had to give up her title for an injury. Piper Niven started working together with Green, and the couple lost the titles of Katana Chance and Kayden Carter in December of this year.

She won the tournament to become the first US champion by defeating Michin in December 2024 at the main event on Saturday evening. It was recently dethroned by Vega in an episode of “WWE Smackdown” on April 25th.

The report on the new signing of Green takes place days after a number of publications on both the main list and in “WWE NXT”. WWE released several women on Friday, including Dakota Kai, Chance and Carter, Shayna Baszler, Cora Jade, Jakara Jackson and Gigi Dolin.
