Tom Cruise says “I don’t want” the last film star

Tom Cruise was interviewed by Entertainment at the New York premiere of “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning” tonight, where he refused to accept the title “Last Movie Star”. Cruises commitment to blockbuster filmmaking and its continued tributary of the health insurance all over the world often have people who say that he is the last true film star. But not so quickly.

“I don’t want to be,” said Cruise. “There are so many other talented actors out there and I want them to crush it.”

Cruise said an example was Michael B. Jordan, who, together with director Ryan Coogler, drove the R-rating vampire film “Siners” at the domestic box office and the count on a powerful $ 240 million. Cruise posted a photo of herself in April, in which a sinner demonstration took part. Jordan then appeared at the London premiere of the latest film “Mission: Impossible”.

“I’m a big fan of him. This film ‘Siners’ is amazing,” said Cruise with an additional quip: “We will make a film together.”

Cruise expanded his love for Jordan in a recent interview with PeopleSaying: “He is dedicated to his brand. I really respect him. Respect Coogler, I love this film. I love the films that you make. It’s brilliant, you know, big cinema … I admire what you do and I love to see people in life. Inspirational.

“It will be a great summer with films,” said Cruise. “We have the ‘John Wick’ series with Keanu (Reeves) and Ana (De Armas). You have Brad (Pitt) with ‘F1’. I’m looking forward to going and everyone has a good summer.”

Whether the last film star is a cruise is up to debate. Sean Penn recently became viral because he said: “The manufacturer of film star is Jennifer Lawrence Time or something. She is probably the last film star.” The two-time Oscar winner also praised the cruise.

“Certain type of films that people appreciate more than others … but this is a very good actor who is also an incredibly extraordinary craftsman,” said Penn about cruise. “These films are not made on these levels without anyone being exceptionally behind them. He is the common link behind many of them. It is no coincidence. He makes his own stunts. He is probably the best stuntman in the film world. He is the most experienced guy.”

“Mission: Impossible – the final billing” opened in the cinemas on May 23.
