The Washington Wizards couldn’t be happier with the foolish trade of Bucks

After everything she gave in her Warchest, the Milwaukee Bucks had one last, desperate bet at the conclusion of the trade. Now, in their first round against the Indiana Pacers 1: 3, it looks as if the Washington Wizards are those who are redeemed. There is nowhere to go to Washington, and Milwaukee can only watch on the way down.

It is not the end of the world to admit it, but it hurts to say: The Washington Wizards absolutely won their trade closure with Milwaukee. By replacing Khris Middleton with Kyle Kuzma, the Bucks hoped to refresh their core to Giannis Antetocounmpo and Damian Lillard. Instead, they gave Washington a victory on a silver plate.

The wizards invited Kuzma to bloated contract and streaked, inefficient scoring – a headache that did not bring them anywhere – and instead added a promising piece in AJ Johnson and a respected veteran in Middleton, whose professionalism and leadership are exactly what a reconstruction needs.

For Washington it will be all upside down in the future: a young talent pipeline, future flexibility and a clear path to a more intelligent conversion. For Milwaukee? It is panicked.

There is no debate: Wizards have won the Middleton Kuzma trade

When the Milwaukee Bucks exchanged the Washington Wizards on the deadline Khris Middleton against Kyle Kuzma, it was framed as a bold swing for a title. They added fresh legs. Younger score. Given the defensive versatility. In theory, it was the type of aggressive movement that a candidate has to do when the window feels like it was closed.

But in practice? It was a disaster – and the wizards couldn’t be happier.

In the first round of the playoffs, the Bucks enter the Indiana Pacers 1: 3. They pass without Damian Lillard. Your defense has fallen apart. And Kyle Kuzma, the alleged answer, looks more like an anchor than a rescue area.

The Bucks thought that Kuzma would give them the gunshot creation, wing evaluation and defense. Conclusion: The Milwaukee Bucks needed an immediate influence. They needed a man who could improve them immediately and increase their ceiling. Instead, they downgraded both ends. Kuzma’s inefficiency and defensive mistakes were obvious risks, and they were completely suspended in the melting pot of Playoff basketball.

After Damian Lillard might have come out for a year, a rescue of mercy for Milwaukee would have been the opportunity for the young dollars waiting in the wings. You once had that in AJ Johnson: a lanky, light quick, score-first player with size and length, which would have been the perfect addition to Giannis Antetocounmpo at the point guard or shooting guard. They had a young view. They no longer.

And now the wizards are progressing with a clear direction, more assets and financial flexibility. The goats see solid and observe how Giannis’ first burning burns away while trying to convince themselves that Kuzma has ever been the answer.

It is early, but it looks like Washington is smiling for a long time – and a Milwaukee could regret it for as long.
