The former Boston College Wide Receiver Dino Tomlin receives rookie Mini Camp Inv.

The Tampa Bay Buccaners invited the former Boston College Wide Receiver Dino Tomlin, the son of the head coach of Pittsburgh Steelers, Mike Tomlin and a three-year-old member of the BC soccer program to Minicamp to Rookie Minicamp, according to Ashley Liotus from WTAE-TV Pittsburgh.

Tomlin started his college football career in 2019 as a real newcomer to Maryland and Redshirt in 2020. As a reserve Wideout and Special Teamer, Tomlin saw his first two seasons very limited and only started a passport for seven yards.

After the Pittsburgh native passed into the heights in the 2022 season. Tomlin played in all 12 games and started the last two after he started mainly in special teams in the year. He received a total of 10 receptions for 181 yards.

Tomlin made a jump in 2023 during his red shirt senior campaign and collected 24 catch-good goods for third place in the team for a career high of 312 yards. He took two starts and played in all 13 games, including the Eagles Bowl game in Fenway Park. Tomlin caught six yards for six yards in the victory after the season against the Southern Methodist University.

After Tomlin changed Jeff Hafley’s head coaches to Bill O’Brien in 2024, Tomlin took on a larger role in the back seat due to the mere amount of in-depth talent from the portal and incoming recruitment class.

Tomlin’s six-foot, 188-pound frame leaves it with a wide wing span and a durable upper body. Tomlin was reliable throughout his career, mainly in the short to mid-passing range, but he could not exceed the limits of his skills due to the lack of season he received.

With an overall record from 191-118-2 since 2007, Mike Tomlin has been the longest head coach of the NFL. His connections have been an integral part of the league for more than 15 years and extend over the NFL and their various organizations.
