The ESPN streaming app costs $ 29.99 per month

ESPN’s new streaming application with everything that contains the sports media low Disney has to offer, costs $ 29.99 per month.

The service that accepts the ESPN name, as CNBC reports last week, is greatly reduced in the bundling of Disney’s other streaming services Disney+ and Hulu. The three services with ads cost 35.99 USD per month when buying together.

For users who are registering this autumn at the time of the ESPN start, the price for this bundle falls to $ 29.99 per month in the first 12 months. In other words, ESPN customers receive Disney+ and Hulu free of charge for the first year.

An annual subscription to the ESPN streaming service costs $ 299.99.

“Our priority is the 60 million households on the side,” said the chairman of ESPN, Jimmy Pitaro, on Monday during a media event.

The ESPN application includes all live games of the network. Programming on other ESPN cable networks such as ESPN2 and the SEC network; ESPN on ABC; Fantasy products; new bows; Studio programming; Documentary films; and more.

The new service differs from ESPN+from ESPN from ESPN, which does not contain some of the most viewed live games (such as the complete table of “Monday Night Football”), which are currently broadcast on traditional PAY TV.

ESPN+ remains a cheaper offer for consumers and acts as an entrance stage for ESPN customers who do not want the entire service. However, Pitaro added that the company would prioritize the upgrade of current ESPN+ prints on the all-access service.

ESPN+ costs $ 11.99 per month and can be bundled with Disney+ and Hulu for $ 16.99 per month with commercials.

As CNBC reported last week, Pitaro decided to name the application “ESPN” in order to simplify overcrowded streaming world that is filled with different media products that can be bundled with other services at different prices.

Later this year, the mobile application of ESPN is redesigned and acting as a gateway to the all-access service on smart TVs and devices. The revised app, which includes new functions such as a personalized “sports center”, is not only available to all users who buy the $ 29.99 product from ESPN.

PAY TV subscribers who already receive ESPN can automatically authenticate into the new app to get the digital bells and whistles that are not available via cable TVs.

Customers who buy ESPN outside the cable bundle also receive ESPN+.
