The Portland Trail Blazers organized their second round on Thursday with pre-draft training sessions in their tuelin practice.

The group of headliners on Thursday was Kentucky’s Otega Oweh, a defensive guard who was able to fit well into the cultural coach Chuance Billups.

“I can protect one by four,” said the 6-foot 5 owe. “I’m a versatile, mutual guy. I have the feeling that every team needs someone who can go out there and protect the best player.

Oweh from Newark, New Jersey, said his defensive attitude was from his wish to disturb the best player in the opposing team.

“I take these matchups really seriously,” he said, “if I can go out there and lock the best player, and then I surpass them, I have my joy and intensity, of which I only have the best player one night.”

When asked what he enjoyed most – to block a shot, to get a theft or throw down a dark – he replied: “A theft and then the dark. I like it right there.”

Sounds like a blazer. But will he stay in the design? Oweh could return to Kentucky for his final year, but said that this is not the plan.

“I’m all in there,” he said. “I have another year of justification, but my goal is to play in the NBA, so I don’t make this process a foot in one foot.”

In a recent report, however, it was found that oweh would only remain in the draft if it were guaranteed to be selected in the first round.

“I wouldn’t say it is completely wrong, but I think I’m a man in the first round,” he said. “So, I will only go through these workouts, give everything, and then, when everything is said and done, I will see where I am and then I’ll make this decision.”

Oweh said he enjoyed the training process and is looking forward to the NBA Combine in Chicago next week.

“It is always fun to compete and then only have high energy,” he said. “It’s quick, but intense.”

Oweh previously trained with Boston and Houston, but said that the Blazer presented a different mood.

“It felt like we were already in a team and only did a training session,” he said. “The way the staff interacted with us and how we went through the exercises was certainly different.”

The great man Izan Almansa from Australia also took part on Thursday.

“I had fun,” said Almanza. “We denied ourselves very well and it was good training.”

This was Almanza’s first training this year, but he also worked for teams after last season after playing with the G League Ignite.

“It is good to have some workouts in front of the combine so that they get used to it,” he said.

This time Almanza said that he wanted to show that he has improved his shootout and is a better all-round player. He described himself as a “energy -most guy”.

“I think it is very advantageous because you know what to deal with,” he said.

The NBA draft lottery will take place on Monday evening. The draft is set for June 25th to 26th.

Biography: As a junior, Oweh scored an average of 16.2 points and 4.7 rebounds, while he scored 49.2% out of the field and scored 35.5% of his three -point attempts. He was appointed the second team as the all-southeastern conference.

Oweh played his first two seasons in Oklahoma. His top scoring games last season (28 and 27 points) stood against his former team.

Biography: In two seasons with the Hoosiers, Mgbako scored an average of 12.2 points and 4.3 rebounds. It shot 41.5% from the field and 32.8% from long -distance routes. He received as a newcomer Big ten Co-Freshman of the year by the coaches of the conference and was appointed to the All-Freshman team.

MGBAKO is expected to be a non -dragged free agent.

Biography: As a junior, Davis set a career high with 15.1 points per game and shot 47.6% from the field, the 6th place in the Atlantic Coast Conference. It only shot 22.9% from the three -point range.

Davis is expected to be a non -dragged free agent.

Jack ClarkVirginia Commonwealth | Forward | 6-8 | 25

Biography: Clark’s first season with VCU was his sixth college basketball season. He scored an average of 9.7 points and 6.9 rebounds and scored career height in the field target percentage (47.8%) and three points (34.8%).

Clark started his career with three seasons in La Salle, switched to North Carolina State and then Clemson before arriving in the VCU.

Clark is expected to be a non -paid free agent.
