Surprising Slugger made a big contribution to Yankees’s offensive this season

The New York Yankees were led by their powerful crime this season, which exceeded all expectations. While the stars occurred, there were also some surprises.

That year it was expected that the Yankees will still be one of the best teams in the league despite a challenging off -season.

New York went through a lot of squad sales, although in 2024 he won the American League.

Although the Juan Soto team lost in the Free Agency, the offensive 2025 did not skip a beat.

While the performance of the Aaron judge was a main reason for the success of the Yankees, he also had a lot of help. One of them was a massive surprise.

Kerry Miller from Bleacher Report recently wrote about the performance of Outfield Trent Grisham, who has been a massive surprise for the Yankees so far.

“Aaron Richter’s incredible start to the season understandably created the whole sensation. But more surprising than the six-time all-star, who remains the best batsle, the production that the Yankees came out of their midfielder is not Cody Bellinger.”

This winter, the addition of Cody Bellinger for New York seemed to be excellent. As a former MVP of the National League and as a left-hander, it should be perfect for the Yankee Stadium.

However, the talented racket slowly started in 2025. So far he has reduced 205/.281/.359 with four homes and 19 RBI. Although the numbers of the talented outfields were not great, the Yankees still received excellent production on the plate of an unlikely source in the outer field.

Like a subsequent thought in Soto trade, Grisham had an incredible start to the year. While he was always a great defender as a two -time winner of the Gold Glove Award, it was his performance on the plate that could be observed exciting.

So far he has reduced .284/.370/.602 with nine home runs and 18 RBI.

These numbers are from the charts compared to what he did throughout his career, and it could only be a great month and cool down things.

However, if he can maintain it, Bellinger could see a little less playing time if he doesn’t turn it over.

Overall, it was a shocking and astonishing start to the campaign for Grisham on the plate. Hopefully he can maintain this level of play and a good problem to be a good problem who should play for Aaron Boone in the outer field.
