Seattle Mariners fall on athletics 7-6 in 11 Innerings

West Sacramento, California (AP) -Jacob Wilson won the 11th Inning to give athletics a 7: 6 victory over the Seattle Mariners on Monday evening at the start of a three-game series between the two best teams in Al West.

Wilson ended with three goals and three RBIs, including a single against Mariner’s Closer Andrés Muñoz, who led the tenth to achieve the automatic runner JJ Bleday. Athletics did not invite the bases with anyone, but Muñoz excluded the next three batteries and has not yet allowed a deserved run this season.

An inning later, a victim of Gio Urshela and two deliberate walks invited the bases for Wilson. He hit a single single from Casey Legumina (2: 1) through the middle of an infield, when athletics drew first place within a game of Mariner.

It was Wilson’s third walk-off hit in 62 major League games and second this season.

Hogan Harris (1-0) won the victory with a goalless 11th victory.

Miguel Andijar’s victim flies in the first and Wilson’s RBI single in the second athletics with 2-0 lead.

Jorge Polanco, Rowdy Tellez, Miles Mastrobuoni and Ben Williamson each run in a run in the third athletics starter Luis Severino to bring Seattle 4-2.

Shea Langeliers led the fourth with his eighth Homer and Lawrence Butler with a two-out RBI single.

Seattle Starter Bryce Miller allowed four runs and seven goals in four innings.
