Over 25 million Americans on the east coast

Over 25 million Americans are threatened for harmful winds, large hail and tornados on Saturday.

The long section of disruptive storms and floods over parts of the central and eastern United States will move to the east on Saturday.

The primary storm threats for this area are the gusts of wind and large hail, with an isolated tornado risk mainly for North Virginia to New Hampshire. Fall floods are also a risk for these areas and the surrounding areas in the east.

New storms start from the Carolinas to New York after 1 p.m. These storms will make the east all afternoon to the east to the evening, and some are strong enough to create harmful wind gusts, large hail and maybe a remote tornado.

The storm activity will depend quickly shortly before midnight, but the threat from the flood of falls will be called around with one of the heavier downpours overnight.

The storm system, which is responsible for the stormy and moist weather for the eastern USA on Saturday, is part of a “Omega block pattern”, in which two storm systems are locked up between a high -pressure area.

This pattern creates a sharp contrast in the weather conditions in a wide range, and this will certainly be the case for this weekend.

Some of these showers will be difficult enough to create some isolated floods for parts of the northeast between Sunday and Tuesday.

On Friday, hail size was reported as a tennis ball in the proximity of Marquez, Texas, while widespread hail was reported in or larger than the quarter size from Texas to New York.

On streets from Texas to Ohio, there are widespread reports on discontinued trees and power lines as well as isolated reports on damage to structures in Texas.

Storm and flood threat

The western storm system will slowly reach the central USA by Monday. It uses the moisture from the Golf and brings a new storm and fall flood threat to the region.

For Monday, the storm threat is concentrated by central texas and includes Fort Stockton, Midland, Lubbock and Abilene.

The primary risks at the moment seem to be big to very difficult and damage to wind gusts, as well as fall floods.

These storms will start as a discrete super cellular storms in the early until the middle of the afternoon and become storming in the evening.

For Tuesday, this storm system will move further to the east, which changes the threat from the floods for parts of the deep south and more moisture for a higher flood threat.

The highest flood threat to Tuesday (level 3 or 4) is the focus via Easternexas, the Far -Southwestern Arkansas and the North Louisiana. This includes Texarkana, Arkansas; Lufkin, Texas; and Shreveport, Louisiana.

Other areas of the Southern Plains and in the deep south are likely to flood from Oklahoma to Mississippi on Tuesday.

Some of these areas have already seen a lot of rain from last week, which makes the ground very saturated. This facilitates the flood of the fall in strong rainfall that take place at the beginning of next week.

In addition, precipitation from these storms still rides slowly into the Mississippi river. For this reason, the rivers are already increased and additional rain will probably lead to river flooding over the lower Mississippi valley.
