Oswald Peraza belt ‘Special’ Homer with Yankees Kaderplatz in doubt

West Sacramento, California – twice, unsolicited, said Oswald Peraza, he enjoys being a Yankee.

The young infielder wants to stay in needle strips and knows that he has to do it to ensure that he will continue to be part of the team.

Peraza appeared on Saturday when he briefly the Yankees in the sixth inning in the sixth inning gab-in a 11: 7 defeat against the A’s in Sutter Health Park.

In a game game, Peraza pulled on a sweeper from Righty Justin Sterner, pulled the left field line down and cleared the wall.

After DJ Lemahieu remains in Seattle on Monday, Peraza’s place seemed to question the squad.

If this Homerun meant a little more for him, it showed: he looked at the shelter, hit his bat to dirt and pumped his fist on the way to the first basis.

“Definitely a special moment,” said Peraza by interpreter Marlon Abreu. “As I said, I really enjoy being part of this team and finding a way, just staying ready. The possibilities you want to be ready when you come.”

There were no plenty of options for Peraza who did not run with those who were given to him.

His 1-by-3-day rose to 0.205 and OPS to 0.657 and usually played the third basis against links, while Oswaldo Cabrera received the repetitions against legal system.

“He obviously didn’t play a bin, but I have the feeling that his bats really improved at the beginning of the season,” said manager Aaron Boone.

If Lemahieu returns, the Yankees squad room could create DFA’ING Peraza or Pablo Reyes or Option Jorbit Vivas.

Perhaps Peraza can build on an encouraging swing – but this is difficult because the Yankees will see a number of real starters next week.

“Definitely some difficulties to find a way to stay ready,” admitted Peraza. “But at the same time I also enjoy the opportunity and am here to prepare and stay ready … … definitely enjoy being here and being part of this team.”

Sears, part of the Frankie Montas trade at the 2022 trade closure, could be a regret of Brian Cashman after establishing himself in the rotation of the A and allowed a run over five inner sessions on Saturday.

Sears has good memories of his time with the Yankees-inch, a snapshot at the lead behind the scenes of Aaron Richter.

The left -hander was good enough in spring training 2022 to crack the opening day for his debut in the Major League. Two days after he found out that he would break the camp with the team, he got a text from Richter.

“Hey, if you are not busy, I have a reservation for you and your family at Don Angie,” said Richter to Sears.

He was not busy. After Sears and his parents had flown from Tampa to New York before the start of the regular season, they went for dinner on the West Village spot where reservations are difficult to get – unless they know the captain of the Yankees.

Sears and his family just appeared and did not have to plan any of the details. At the end of the meal, judge arrived, introduced Sear’s parents and paid dinner.

“It seems that he has always been the person he says he’ll be,” said Sears.

The Yankees have not yet named a starting jug for the final of the Sunday series final, which needs a fifth starter after Carlos Carrasco DFA’D and Clarke Schmidt wanted to receive an additional day off before the pitching.

Boone said Ryan Yarbrough would probably find “in any way, form or form”, which means that the Bullpen option could start as a bulk can help or log as a BULK deductor.

The strange man from the starting line -up on Saturday: Ben Rice, who was sitting against Sear’s left.

Judge moved to DH, Trent Grisham started in midfield, Cody Bellinger played on the right and Jasson Domínguez remained in the line-up against a south paw after his three-Homer game on Friday.

Rice Preise scored in the eighth and hit Mason Miller.

“I also looked at it to keep these boys fresh,” said Boone. “But they all play all the time. So far I have the feeling that it worked well.”
