Betty spent her high school years to live and work at Mount St. Dominic Academy in Caldwell, New Jersey. She awarded her uni -basketball team excellently. Then St. Joseph Nursing School graduated in nursing. She loved taking care of patients and visiting. It served her well to educate her 8 sporty children.

It was love at first glance when Mike Betty scored in Falmouth at the age of 16. A real beauty, he had directed his eyes to marry her again. They made honeymoon in Bermuda, the first of many trips there. A statue of honor was donated to her 50th anniversary with all her children and grandchildren in the gardens of the Bermuda Aquarium, the Museum and the Zoo. She found strength through her relationship with mother Mary and often turned to her to get guided tours. As a pious Catholic and member of the St. Joseph’s Parish, she was with her lovingly produced chocolate biscuits, which led the blood cross bleeding and an active member of the Ladies Guild. Everyone loved to see Betty in the city, play tennis in the pool and in the Racquet Club, and at the many events that Mike and Betty organized. Betty’s biggest gift to family, friends and community may have been their warm hugs … unforgettable to everyone the luck of getting one.

Many thanks to the special supervisors, Betty and the Good Shepherd Palliative Care and Hospice Team.

Ice was her favorite, so I have a ball or a cone or donation for your favorite charity organization in your memory.
