Nolan and Mulligan in Danish hunting

Liam Nolan and Daniel Mulligan are both eight shots from the lead and right before the top 10 start to the weekend at The Dänish Challenge.

Both players are five under-pars and try to follow Calum Fyfe in the Golf Club.

Nolan carded a two-below 70, while the 20-year-old mulligan in four birdies in five holes on his back rolled nine for a 69 in the birdies.

On the first day, Fyfe shot impressive eight under par 64 and signed for a fifth second round of 67, including six birdies, to get under par for tournament.

Fyfe has one free of Sweden Pro Nängern after releasing a six under par 66 after 36 holes in order to be able to get into a fight.

After the 27-year-old had played the front nine in one under par, he achieved the tithe and 13th winnings before taking two more birdies on the 14th and Par Five 16. After Fyfe had chosen both longer holes, he relied on his strong wedge game to go up and down.

“I’m good with my wedges, so it was about getting myself into the right positions and trying to turn the ball to stop it,” he said.

“I’m very happy. I am happy about how things are going and hopefully it can go on.

“I play well and then there is not so much pressure when I hit the ball in the Rough because I feel that I can set up and make birdie.”

Unfortunately there were some Irish losses when Max Kennedy the cut by a shot on one-over 71, while Mark Power.
