Holden worked in the public sector as a city council member, senator and deputy head of the former supervisor of Los Angeles County, Kenneth Hahn.

“Nate Holden was a legend here in Los Angeles. He was a lion in the Senate and a force with which I had to reckon with the city council of Los Angeles. As a new member of the council, he was a new council member in the chambers. He was an estimated member of my father’s father and my father was left. My father was a unique fire.”
