“My brain just works differently”

Hilaria Baldwin claims that her accent, who fluctuates between Spanish and the American, is partially due to being neurodiversing and having a brain that is “different”.

“I have ADHD and dyslexia,” writes the 41 -year -old entrepreneur in her new book “Handbook does not include”.

“And these (diagnoses) have a strong impact on my language, my reading, my listening, my focus, my memory and my self -confidence.”

At the end of 2020, Hilaria, who had long claimed to come from Spain when he grew up in Boston while he spent a vacation in the European country.

The interviews were later uncovered, where she spoke in various accents. In one of the reproductions, she even claimed to have forgotten the English word for cucumbers during a cook segment on “Today”.

Days after the scandal broke out, Hilaria, who is married to actor Alec Baldwin, took on social media to defend himself.

“I spent part of my childhood in Boston, some of my childhood in Spain,” she said. “My family, my brother, my parents, my nephew, everyone is now in Spain (during) I’m here.”

However, as reported on page six, the parents of Hilaria’s parents only moved to Mallorca in 2011 when she was already 27 years old.

The former yoga teacher married Baldwin (67) in 2012 and they share seven children: Carmen, 11, Rafael, 9, Leonardo, 8, Romeo, 6, Eduardo and Marilu, 4, and Ilaria, 2.

The Alaun “30 Rock” also shares a daughter, 29-year-old Ireland, with his former wife Kim Basinger.

In her volume, Hilaria continues to claim that her brain is an activity cyclone because she is neurodicizing.

“I have a brain that is part of English, part of Spanish, seven dolls from mother brain, a heavy distraction when I get stuck or go out and forget what I say while I say it,” she writes.

The “Baldwin’s” star also admits that she has never discussed “anything publicly”.

“I just existed in a country in which I sometimes spoke a language and sometimes spoke another, sometimes I mixed it and mixed up and never talked about my processing differences,” she tells the reader.

Hilaria admits that the public counter reaction from the scandal was brutal for her whole family.

“I started to really disguise myself. I was confused. I felt lost. I missed my family. I couldn’t eat. I became very thin. I started to question my mental health. I started asking if I was a good person,” she recalls.

“I returned to what I did as a child and started calling myself stupid. When I woke up, I wanted to be dead. And I was getting worse and worse.”

Finally Hilaria says she came through the media circus with the help of her husband.

“Alec was so good at me during this time,” she enthuses in the book. “He had experienced similar situations: people who said terrible things about him destroy him and others think he was a bad person. He was able to suffice from a place of real empathy and personal experience.”

Hilaria now accepts that her “brain just works differently” and tells the fans: “I can be really successful in the right environments and tasks.”
