Mississippi State against Texas A&M Baseball, postponed in the Sec tournament

Hoover, Al-Mississippi State Baseball’s SEC tournament game against Texas A&M was postponed due to the weather, the conference announced.

The No. 11 Saatgut Bulldogs (34-20) and No. 14 Aggies (28-25) will instead play on May 21 (9:30 a.m., sec network) in the Hoover Metropolitan stage.

The heavy weather was not hit at the time of the announcement, but thunderstorms date from the night. The first pitch was planned for around 8 p.m.

It will be the first game of the season between Mississippi State and Texas A&M. The winner plays No. 6 Auburn (38-17), which was postponed until May 22nd (11 a.m., sec network).

The MSU has entered the SEC tournament as the winner of the nine of the last 10 games since coach Chris Lemonis was released on April 28th. It is considered that a NCAA tournament area is already secured, but victories in the SEC tournament could help sow.
