Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill, who earn rare reviews of coaches

Miami Dolphins players enjoy a free memorial day weekend before starting their OTAs after completing the first two phases of the offseason program.

And while he continues to recover from the wrist surgery outside the season, Tyreek Hill has impressed his coaches with his commitment, although he is unable to record passes.

“I think it’s a guy who is extremely motivated to get better every day and have a positive effect on the offensive and the team,” said offensive coordinator Frank Smith this week. “He has energy every day, he works through his process. He has been great in the low season so far.”

Hill’s commitment would have to be tackled is a result of the comments that he made against the New York Jets, which became viral after the 2024 season finale and have become a topic of conversation for several weeks – and led to continued speculation about the possibility that he could be acted.

But Smith said Hill told him that he wanted to be with the dolphins.

“Yes, and I think our buy-in together with the boys and everyone and tried to use the way the last season left as a motivation to ensure that we maximize every day,” said Smith. “You are not happy, you don’t look into the past. Just say what I have to do now, and I think Tyreek and everyone really take it on.”

Smith said there would be no timeline about when Hill may be ready to practice, although it is a safe assumption that this will not happen during the offseason program, be it in the two weeks of Otas or the veteran minicamp from June 10th to June 12th.

The dolphins have a new co -trainer who will work with Hill this year, and Robert Prince replaces Wes Welker as Wide Receiver Coach.

Prince says Hill has had a pleasure so far.

“Tyreek was great,” said Prince. “I mean, if I write him, he writes back to me. When I call him, he calls me back. He says I will be here, he was here. And it was great. I only have positive experiences with Tyreek and he is a great leader in the room.

“He treated us all with a recipient meal. We took out the boys and it was really good.
