May 2025: What is new, gay and streaming on Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, Max, Peacock, Apple and Paramount+

You know what you say – April flowers bring May – TV broadcasts with lesbian, bisexual and queer women and/or transfigures. But right? Well, in May 2025 I would actually say: “Yes, actually they do it somehow.” There is a lot to sharpen this month, so let’s go into it!

Netflix ‘May 2025 things for girls & gays

Bet: Season one // May 15th
Netflix ‘live action (and English-language) adaptation of the manga series Kakegurui compulsory games will find a new student Yumeko in a elite boarding school full of evil children and intends to carry out a secret mission at the game. There is a lot of homoeroticism in the series, as well as two main characters, Riri and Mary, who are strange.

Big mouth: season 8 // May 23rd
In his last season, this queer-inclusive animation series “will enter the shattering unknown of the future and are less afraid of what will come because they have each other”. Queer actor Cynthia Erivo joins the voice that plays the role of “Missy’s vagina”. Ayo Edebiri plays Missy. So that will be decent!

Another easier (2025) // May 1st
This continued continuation of the homoerotic and also literally queer Anna Kendrick / Blake Lively Joy Ride has mainly received medium -sized reviews and does not seem to share the sapph tension of the original, which is one of my favorite reading films ever. Alex Newell plays Vicky, Stephanie’s agent.

Overcompensing: season 1 // 15 May
The occupation of this show – focuses on a gay former football player (Benito Skinner alias Benny), who closed himself through his first college year – is banana, it is like a laundry list of people who have made them laugh via Tikok. Obviously, the story is largely concentrated on gay men and heterosexual women, but there are also some queer girls representatives, like a small lesbian figure, which is played by comedian Julia SHIPLET and DESIREE AKHVAN in an episode in which she also makes a short guest spot. It is such a funny show with fantastic guest stars – really a joy, we as a community.

The second best hospital in the galaxy: season two // 26 May
Valerie worshiped the first season of this animation series, in which “Keke Palmer played a queer, anxious surgeon and Stephanie HSU, who played their regular best friend”. In the second season, the intergalactic besties will continue to solve medical secrets throughout the universe, while they finally dissolve the secret of the origin of the doctor. The voice of the voice includes Abbi Jacobson, John Waters and Bowen Yang.

Nine perfect strangers: season two premiere // May 21st
Based on a novel by the Liann Miarity, season seed Nicole Kidman as the unbound wellness guru Masha Dmitrichko, who led an elite wellness retreat in which sketchy things took place. (In addition, she briefly kissed a girl who was personally exciting for Mee.) In the second season, who was not turned out of all the fabric and not from a second book, contains nine new strangers who were selected under bizarre circumstances for a healing retreat in the Austrian Alps with which she will bring her to the sidelines. King Princess will give her acting debut in the series and play a queer figure together with the queer actress Maise Richardson.

Keep my eye: Adult (FX, May 28), a new comedy of a really killer team. Seems like someone should be gay somewhere, right?

HBO Max ‘May 2025 Queer TV

Already player one (2018)
Lena Waith plays a lesbian in this dystopian novel, which focuses on a teenage orphan, which, like most people in this special hell, spends itself most of the time in the virtual reality simulation and plays with his friends as a video game. Waith is one of his friends and plays as Aech with whom he works to win a competition with a life -changing price.

And just like that …: season three premiere // May 29th
Carrie Bradshaw promises us a new and unexpected summer in New York City in a trailer in which Miranda also flirts with a girl who wears a vest in a bar and does something in the air while he says Carrie, “I really like her, but it is a work contact” and also in bed with a woman with pony. As you may have heard, Sara Ramirez will not return to repeat her role as a comedy concerto che diaz. One thing is certain: everyone will wear outfits that really don’t hold back.

Poker face: Premiere of the second season // May 8th
This delightful Mystery-of-the-Week series is finally back and shows Natasha Lyonne as Charlie Cale, Human Lie Detector. Of course there are a variety of delightful guest stars, including queer actors Cynthia Erivo, Awkwafina, Alia Shawkat, Patti Harrison, Sherry Cola and Taylor Schilling. There are some subtle queer characters in the entire series, and the ninth episode is legitimate gay-Lauren Tom plays a grandmother with a valuable rent-controlled apartment, which she hopes to pass on to her granddaughter (Awkwafina), but then she gets a friend (Alia Shawkat) and everything is thrown in disarays!

Keep my eye: There could be a queer candidate in the new reality show of the New Geo-Suping competition competition Goal X (May 27).

Apple TV+ May 2025 Queer TV and film

Murderbot: Season 1 Premiere // May 16
From the novels by Martha Wells, this ironic, comedic science fiction series Alexander Skarsgård adapted as a non-bobbing asexual, aromantic introverted cyborg, who is programmed to offer a company owner who is fate out of this fate, and now wants to be left alone to see the striving for television. I can refer to it a lot. Murderbot is commissioned to work with a planetary community that includes non-binary Comic-Sabrina Wu as a lawyer Pin-Lee, who is in an open marriage to the biologist Arada. Everyone is poly and superweird.

Lulu is a rhino (2025) // May 30th
This animated family musical special is based on Jason and Allison Flom’s Children’s book, which is about a dog that believes that it is a wink. Auli’i Cravalho and Alex Newell are part of the voice.

Criminal heads: Evolution: Season 18 Premiere // May 8th
Nicole Pacent will return as DOJ prosecutor Rebecca, who had a beautiful romance with Aisha Tyler’s character Tara Lewis, who made her the first series of series in a long-term relationship with this franchise. The queer actress Kristin Vagnness plays as an adorable computer nerd Garcia.

Skymed: Season 3 Premiere // May 15th
The second season of this Canadian medical drama was full of queer female characters, including many who return. Flight nurse Sydney Kuhne, ambitious pilot Lexi (Mercedes Morris) and flight sister Crystal (Morgan Holmstrom) of the First Nations.

The Chi: Season 7 Premiere // May 16
Lena Waith’s Hit series on the south side of Chicago will see Alicia at the top, like all women of The chi Increase your power back. Unfortunately, our lesbians Dre and Nina will not be there to take part in this uprising, but it will be Jazelles Trans -character Fatima.

Couple therapy // season 4b premiere // 23 May 23rd
My favorite method to obtain couple therapy, the therapy of the couple in Showtime, is the second half of the fourth season. However, the trailer shows us five different couples, but only four are highlighted in the program. We hope that the lesbians are among them.
