Last shot in rain for a while

Forecast highlights

  • THURSDAY: Scattered PM showers and storms

  • Difficult chance: Isolated, mainly closer to Rio Grande

  • Dry Mother’s Day Weekend: Cool morning, pleasant afternoons

FORECAST

Although it was a busy weather, we still haven’t seen enough rain to get out of drought … at least not in San Antonio. Today and tomorrow there will be a few chances of rain.

Showering Thursday

The energy of the upper level in combination with a front should bring a slightly better chance of rain tomorrow (40%). For San Antonio, it will probably be in the form of some showers in the afternoon and evening. Insolated heavy storms are possible further south and especially closer to the Rio Grande.

Dry and beautiful Mother’s Day weekend

The low humidity takes over this weekend and ensures cool morning and warm afternoons. It will be free of rain.

Hot and dry next week

Trends are calling for the 90s next week, while Regen stays out of the forecast. This could make the drought conditions worse.
