Kicker for the congress? The former NFL player says Trump’s attempt to assist

Exclusive: A former NFL kicker starts his offer for the congress on Tuesday after unveiling Fox News Digital, which inspired him to choose an office.

The sports commentator Jay Fely enters the Republican primary school for Arizona’s fifth congress district to replace Rep. Andy Biggs, who is running to the next governor of the state of Grand Grand Canyon.

FEELY said that he has been interested in politics for years, but the assassination attempt by the then presidential candidate Donald Trump last year, who inspired him to run for an office.

“The legislative leadership that the Democrats did against President Trump and they have to see how he was shot. That was a big moment for me. I remember that on the day he was shot I really thought about running for an office,” he told Fox News digitally during an exclusive interview shortly before his announcement.

Feely played for the Arizona Cardinals, Atlanta Falcons, New York Giants, New York Jets, the Miami Dolphins and the Chicago Bears. Most recently he was CBS sports analyst.

He found that some of his experiences in the Executive Committee of the NFL Player Association were an opportunity for him to improve his leadership qualities to possibly bring to Washington.

“One of these times when we had a lockout and the players were locked up by the owners. We had to negotiate,” he said.

“These types of negotiations are similar to what is going on in the house and in the Senate and continues in the congress.

In the midst of the most important political changes to the border, FEELY claims that the biggest problem with which the state is faced with is illegal immigration.

“The Democrats told us that they needed a legislative proposal or could not repair the border. And President Biden sat over and let tens of million illegals come to our country, and he could have taken the measures that President Trump took in three months,” he said.

The Republican primary school currently includes the former representative of the House Speaker Pro Tempore Travis Grantham and the Veteran of the Army, Alex Stovall.

Cook Political Report evaluates the district as a solid republican and it is not a goal of the democratic congress campaign committee as a chance of picking up, which is the first, second and sixth district in Arizona.

Nevertheless, Feely believes that he is an “unbeat” before he is a competitive intermediate cycle because the Republicans have an extremely narrow majority in the house.

“I think one of the things from a republican perspective is that we have not remained united. Democrats remain united, even if they do not agree in questions. They are a united front. And I give the spokesman Johnson a lot of recognition at the moment because he has kept this since President Trump.
