Kevin de Bruyne: Man City ‘Genius’ is ideal in the Etihad Stadium

In a night when ‘the boss’ rolled into the city, the king waved adopted for the last time.

De Bruyne’s face was plastered wherever they looked at the stadium, and although the legendary US singer Bruce Springsteen may have played a few meters away in the Co-OP Live Arena, this was the hottest ticket of the day.

Goods had scarves with de Bruyne’s name, as did the shirts of the trailers, while the matchday program has a mock-up of the player with the crown of the Premier League Trophy on his head.

City had announced in the run -up to the opening that they had dedicated a mosaic and named a street to de Bruyne at the club’s academy.

It was also suitable that a playmaker who created such art on the grass screen painted a huge murals from him in the north district of Manchester.

As soon as the chants of “Ohh Kevin de Bruyne” had died to the Army of Seven Nations, there was a goal of anticipation every time he drove the ball and prepared him to present a goal or to help her lawn one last time.

The big moment could not have been planned better – the ball that was placed on a plate in front of an open gate, a few meters away, but de Bruyne pushed the ball onto the bar.

The 33-year-old had his head in his hands, as well as the returning Rodri on the bench and the city fans all around when the dream finals went wrong.

“It’s terrible,” said de Bruyne about the Miss. “There are no excuses. My son will be very hard for me today.”

At full -time, assembly of his best moments in the past ten years flashed on the screen with news such as Sergio Aguero, Vincent Kompany, Raheem Sterling and Pablo Zabaleta.

De Bruyne received an honorary guard when he returned to the field with his wife and children at his side.

Then came the expression of emotions.

The former Chelsea man tried to keep it together during his speech in the middle of the park, as did a tearful guardiola that continued from the sidelines from the sidelines.

“We want you to stay, Kevin de Bruyne, we want you to stay,” was the vocals that the supporters emerged, but there seems to be no return when he led his teammates on a group of appreciation before he went out one last time.

Former city defender Micah Richards said: “He lets his football talk. He is such a shy character, but over the years I have met him and saw how modest he is and how great he is, it’s just great to see.

“He deserves his sending. Everyone who played with him speaks high of him, and doing what he is in the Premier League is only sensational.”
