Since his arrest, Anthony’s family has hired the defenders Billy Clark and Kim Cole, who were immediately asked to reduce Anthony’s bond.

What happened during the hearing to hear the bonds

During the hearing on Monday, April 14th, Anthony’s defender interviewed the teenager’s father according to his character. His father said that Anthony was an “A” student, the captain of both his football and his route teams.

Anthony’s father also informed the court that he was the only provider of her family and could not afford the amount of $ 1 million.

The prosecutors, who only submitted the police report and no witnesses, also interviewed Anthony’s father during the hearing.

The public prosecutor asked for a separate “attack” in which Anthony was involved in February 4, which was treated internally by Frisco ISD.

The public prosecutor also asked why Anthony’s family had not used the money donated by a donation account for his son’s bond.

“We have no access to the money,” replied Anthony’s father.

Defense lawyers argued that the 412,000 US dollars brought in the online account were “not a prohibition fund” and that the family is needed to get by, since Anthony’s father is currently on leave from work.

During the final arguments, the defenders announced that the judge was “unusual” in view of Anthony’s lack of crime history. They asked the judge to reduce the bond for Anthony to $ 150,000 and ask him to wear a ankle monitor.

The public prosecutor asked that the bond of 1 million US dollars continues to exist and told the judge that the amount for murder cases in Collin County was standard.

The judge finally decided that the bond was reduced to 250,000 US dollars, and if Anthony’s family combined him from prison, Anthony would have to stay in his parents’ house and wear a ankle monitor. The judge said that if Anthony violated this rule, he would return to prison.
