Jordon Hudson, friend of Bill Belichick, said they were engaged

The head coach of North Carolina, Bill Belichick, and his girlfriend Jordon Hudson have not announced a change in their relationship status. However, Hudson has reported that she has been engaged to the 73-year-old coaching legend.

The New York Times published a story about Belichick and Hudson on Tuesday morning.

In history it shows that Hudson has “told at least one person that she and Mr. Belichick are engaged to be married.”

Hudson is Belichick’s 24-year-old girlfriend, who has remained in the headlines in the past few weeks.

There was already a lot of attention on Belichick’s relationship with Hudson due to the age gap of 49 years. This attention was reinforced when Hudson broke Belichick’s interview with CBS last month.

When Bill Belichick was asked how he and Jordon Hudson met, Hudson interfered.

“We don’t talk about it,” she said.

Belichick promoted his new book “The Art of Winning” during the interview with CBS. In the past few weeks, he has continued to participate in various interviews to promote his book. This includes last week when he sat down with Michael Strahan on Good Morning America.

Strahan asked Belichick about Hudson and how much attention had received her relationship.

“Yes, well, she was great throughout the process and she was very helpful to me,” said Bill Belichick. She does the business things that do not refer to North Carolina that appear in my life so that I can concentrate on football, and that’s really what I want to do.

“You know, I recognized her in the book. With the tribute pages, she was very helpful and also gave a perspective of the book of a kind of business side, you know. Sometimes I get a little technical and so she did a good job to keep myself in balance.”

After Belichick had discussed how Jordon Hudson helps him professionally, Strahan followed and asked what Hudson means for him. The six-time super bowl champion head coach was not very interested in answering this question.

“Well, we have a good personal relationship and you know that I don’t talk about personal relationships, Michael. You know that,” said Belichick.

Strahan then asked if Belichick was happy. He just replied: “Yes.”

At the beginning of this month, reports appeared that Hudson was banished from North Carolina’s football function, which UNC rejected in an explanation.

Belichick was asked for Hudson last week and when her relationship has become a distraction for the North Carolina football program.

“Yes, I mean, you know, it’s really to the side,” said Bill Belichick. “It is a personal relationship and she has nothing to do with UNC football.

“I am very happy to be back in the coaches and to prepare for June and then in August when we come to the training camp. So June will be a big recruitment month for us, and August will then prepare for the season.”

As a follow-up, Belichick was asked if he had talks about his relationship with his players. He answered yes, but did not give exactly one direct answer.

“Yes, no, I’m talking to the players, you know when we meet with them when they come to visit and come. Sure,” said Belichick.

He added that the conversations went “great”.

“We want the players to be the best they can be and offer them the best opportunity on and next to the field. And that’s exactly what we are at UNC.”
