Israeli demonstrators in Tel Aviv are calling for an end to the war against Gaza | Israel-Palestine conflict news

Thousands gather and demand an end to the war and the release of Israeli prisoners in Gaza.

Thousands of Israelis gathered in the center of Tel Aviv and asked the government to end the war against Gaza and to secure the immediate release of Israeli prisoners who were kept in the besieged Palestinian enclave.

The Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported that in Tel Aviv, the forum for hostages and missing families, an Israeli campaign group, organized their weekly rally on Saturday in “Geiselnplatz”, while a further demonstration of families of prisoners outside the Israeli military district took place.

A separate anti -tiger protest also took place at Habima Square in Tel Aviv.

The times of Israel reported that Shai Mozes, whose parents were kept and released in separate exchange transactions, told the crowd in the protest in the Habima Square that Israel’s “real enemy is not the Hamas, but Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who destroys Israel as a Jewish and democratic state”.

Al Jazeeras Hamdah Salhut, who reported about Amman, Jordania, said: “Family members of Israeli prisoners in Gaza say that Netanyahu is still extending the war against personal and political gain and that he is the one who is not willing to compromise compromises with any kind of ceasfire.”

“There are still 59 prisoners in Gaza, of whom 35 Israeli officials say they are confirmed dead, and 21, who are being viewed alive, and three whose fate is still unknown,” she said.

“Israeli civil servants say that they expand their operations in Gaza and are not yet going to have any kind of ceasefire business. The best way to bring about the release of these prisoners is with military means that the family members of prisoners and the larger part of Israeli society do not agree,” she said.

After Netanyahu announced an extended offensive in the Gaza Strip on Monday, the forum for hostages and missing families criticized the move in an explanation and said the plan “sacrifices” those who are still kept in the Palestinian territory.

Haaretz also reported that protests were planned in other cities, including Jerusalem, Haifa and Beerscheba as well as in dozens of other locations and intersections in Israel.
