Indy 500 History: records, statistics, all -time winners

The Indianapolis 500, which is generally referred to as “the biggest spectacle in racing”, has become a motorsport tradition since it was founded in 1911. It is also a synonym for the Memorial Day Weekend. The biggest event in the Indycar calendar, the race, took place on the Sunday before the holiday since the 1970s.

In 2024, Josef Newgarden won the second year in a row, this year with team -mate Will Power will start from the back of the network. The 2025 race begins on May 25th at 12.45 p.m.
