I got “too much Botox” and a “lip flip” and can no longer “smile”

Pop singer Meghan Trainor said she regrets recent plastic surgery that left her unable to smile properly.

The 30-year-old star opened up about what happened on a recent episode of her Workin’ On It podcast, admitting that she “got too much Botox.”

“I messed up,” she added.

“Someone convinced me, with my small lips, that if you do a lip flip, you can apply filler directly over the top lip and achieve a beautiful flip on the top lip.” And I could have one for the first time in my 30 years – “That wasn’t true,” she said.

“I can’t smile anymore,” Trainor continued. “Everywhere I go I can’t smile. It hurts my face to smile even if I even try.”

Demonstrating her new look, Trainor said, “This is as big as I can smile,” while looking into the camera.

She then shared a photo of herself with a dog at an animal shelter. She said she was a “happy person” in the photo, even though she didn’t look it. “I look like I smelled someone’s fart,” she said joked while speaking to her brother on the podcast.

The singer told her followers: “Don’t try everything.”

The “Whoops” singer said Despite the failure of the cosmetic procedure, she still plans to have breast surgery in the future.

Trainor said she “just wants a little lift” and “maybe a little implant just so they can say, ‘We’re boobs,’ because right now they’re not.”

According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons a Lip slap uses Botox “to relax a muscle in the upper lip, causing the lip to “fold over” and create the appearance of a fuller upper lip. The procedure is different from lip fillers, which involve injections directly into the lip rather than over it.”

The process is said to look more “natural” than traditional fillers.

Several celebrities have been open about their cosmetic surgery failures in the past. Last year, “Little House on the Prairie” actress Melissa Gilbert said she had plastic surgery that made her look like “the spawn of Satan.”

“I had no expression on my face, which is anathema given my profession,” Gilbert said said At the time, he added: “It’s exhausting to maintain such a facade. I was very insecure.”
