How to get to Duga in STALKER 2

This guide will show you how to get to Duga STALKERS 2 for the mission “Happiness for All” without being killed by Monolith soldiers and snipers.

After you complete the tutorial STALKERS 2you are limited to the subzone until you complete the main story missions. After completing a few of these (and perhaps a few side missions like The Poppy Field), you’ll be able to explore even more of the map – but not all of that. Read on to learn how to get to the Duga region in the southwest of the zone!

How do I get to Duga? STALKERS 2

You can board in Duga STALKERS 2 by entering the region from the southeast. However, it’s not a good idea to go to Duga until you reach the main story mission “Happiness for All” – by then there will be many enemies and invincible snipers in the area.

Once you reach the main story mission “Happiness for All”, you can take the following route to safely enter Duga, as shown in the map below:

At this point in the story, most of the Duga region is occupied by the revived Monolith forces. Part of their security includes snipers, and unfortunately STALKERS 2 uses these snipers as an impenetrable barrier to Duga. If you attempt to approach Duga from the northwest, north, or northeast, you will be killed instantly and have no chance to recover.

Instead, you should make your way to the helicopter base in the Burnt Forest region of the map. Follow the southernmost road southwest, making sure to stay as far away from Duga as possible. You can safely enter the region from the southeast, although you may occasionally encounter Monolith patrols.

The main story mission “Happiness for All” is pretty easy after that; They must advance deeper into Duga and defeat Monolith soldiers, ultimately leading to a boss fight against Faust. When Faust is defeated, the Monolith soldiers (and their invincible snipers) disappear, allowing you to explore this region and loot for artifacts and other goodies with fewer problems.

However, keep in mind that defeating Faust and his Monolith comrades will not destroy this area complete secure. There are still many mutants and anomalies scattered throughout the buildings of Duga. Remember: there is nothing anywhere in the zone really secure!
