Daphne tells Collider that she knew that the heirs of the castle were an opportunity, but she never thought that she could afford to take over the project. During the series premiere, the spectators see how dramatic it is to carry out repairs at the castle.

“The fact that we could find out things was an absolute surprise for us,” she said, adding that the wedding shop that the couple houses on the lower levels of the castle and the basics financed the infinite repairs. Wedding money helps, but she jokes: “Hopefully we’ve done it in the next 100 years or something.”

Becoming an unofficial wedding planner is now part of the thrill. Fortunately, the couple has a beautiful room to organize the weddings, far away from the renovation zones – although it is not unusual for them to appear for a ceremony with a hammer that is still in a buttocks. “Daphne and I had to run from our overalls and paints covered clothes and then change myself quickly and then meet some people who have to prepare for their wedding day,” laughs Ian. “Every now and then they will come a little early and see how we go back with a few woodfalls.”

HGTV’s “Castle Impossible” can be followed a little

If the couple does not juggle weekend weddings, it is about renovation work by exploring every corner of the castle. This means that even the creepiest areas that Ian insists on the fact that they could be hit home. The castle’s dungeon (yes, it has a dungeon), the source was at least one creepy encounter.

A skeptic, Daphne, says: “I have to literally go through the dungeon at 3 or 4 in the morning during the weddings, which by the way, some of these weddings go until 4 a.m., and I was never organized by anything.” Ian disagrees and reveals a spinal moment that he had in the dungeon.

Not everything you see in the hometown is exactly what it seems.

“The first time I took a few photos in the dungeon and thought I heard Daaphne run,” he recalls. “There is like this long hallway in the dungeon and I heard very clearly how she went down the stairs and went down the hallway. And I just started talking to her, and she didn’t answer, so I looked into the hallway and you can see all the way across the lock, and there is no one. Then I went.” Now. “

Despite the commissioning of engineers and architects to carry out several security controls, they still came across some rather frightening situations. Such a situation occurs in the first episode of the series. “We started to think that it would only be to build up the walls and repeat the ground, like a normal renovation for electricity,” recalls Ian. “But there was a point when we all removed and we were actually allowed to see the tip of the bell tower. Tony (the couple’s contractor) felt around one of the rays and his hand just went on the jet.

He continues: “So the Bell Tower was when he realized that he saw that we did some work and changed some of the weight. He was really very scared … He was actually worried that he was broke through the work he did on this lazy column and stormed the costs of repairing over 200,000 US dollars.” Unfortunately, the risk is associated with the renovation, which many contractors find in repairs. “Sometimes you only notice these things until they start doing work. That was just the main example,” he adds.

The season teases themselves with breathtaking backdrops and surprising curves, which are sprinkled with love and a lot of humor, while Daphne and Ian try to turn this Castle impossible In their lifelong dream.
