Heavy thunderstorm warning for a Ohio, how the striker line approaches

Cleveland, Ohio – A number of heavy thunderstorms began on Thursday afternoon through the northeast of Ohio, which caused the national weather service to enact a severe thunderstorm for the region.

At 3:40 p.m., the storms were along a line that stretched from Westlake to the areas of Strongsville and Lodi and moved to northeast with 55 miles per hour.

Radar stated that the winds drilled to 60 miles per hour, which is strong enough to dissuade trees and power lines.

The serious thunderstorm warning, which is in force until 4.15 p.m., covers Cuyahoga, Medina, Südwestsee, Northern Summit and Northeastern Lorain Counties.

A group of storms in front of the line caused a heavy thunderstorm on Thursday afternoon, shortly after 3 p.m. radar, whereas minor damage to vehicles is possible as a result of the HAGEL, said the NWS.

Overall, a heavy thunderstorm was published in a large part of the state, including the northeast -ohio. This watch applies until 7 p.m. and shows that the conditions for the development of heavy thunderstorms in or near the watch area are favorable.

The thunderstorm is expected to get out of the region at 7 p.m., said prognostic.

Another wave of low pressure will move to the northeast towards the Great Lakes region on Friday and bring another chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms.
