GT VS LSG: Mitchell Marsh joins Brother Shaun in a historical milestone and becomes the first sibling couple that beats hundreds

Mitchell Marsh engraved his name with brother Shaun on Thursday when the duo was the first sibling couple to smash a hundred of the Indian Premier League (IPL). With the first in Bat, Mitchell provided the bowler from Gujarat Titans to clean in order to complete his virgins in just 56 balls. It was also the first hundred of an overseas dough in IPL 2025.

His brother Shaun, who played for Kings Xi Punjab (now Punjab Kings), had smashed a hundred hundred hundreds of hundreds in the first season in 2008 – 115 runs of 69 balls. Shaun is the oldest.

Mitchell, who was in a rich form in IPL 2025, was also the 11th Australian batter that scored a hundred points in the richest league of a world. The all-rounder also crossed the 500 run brand this season.
