IDAHO FALLS – One of Cheyenne Grace’s favorite things to do during the holiday season is listening to Christmas music while she decorates the tree. With a new album she expands the extensive collection of Christmas songs.

“Home for Christmas” features 10 classic Christmas songs accompanied by the Czech Philharmonic. The music was recorded in Prague and Cheyenne recorded the vocals in West Hollywood.

The album was produced by her father Glenn Beck and will be available to purchase and stream on any music platform starting Black Friday.

This is the 18-year-old’s first album. The part-time resident of eastern Idaho hasn’t finished high school yet and feels “so blessed and lucky” to be doing something many kids her age have only dreamed of.

She’s enjoyed working on it with her dad over the last year and she’s excited for people to hear it.

“We had a great time together. I’ve always been a momma’s girl…but as I got older, I really felt like I needed to spend more time with my dad. It was fantastic to be able to bond with him that way. We have so many inside jokes from this whole process. “He is such an amazing father and I am so blessed to have him in my life,” Cheyenne tells EastIdahoNews.com.

Cheyenne began singing as an actor in various theater productions several years ago. There are several clips of her as Nancy in a joint production of “Oliver” on her YouTube channel.

But her interest in acting began much earlier when she started ballet at the age of 5.

As a teenager, she heard about auditions for a local production of “Newsies” in Dallas, where she lives full-time. She didn’t get a role, but was later part of the ensemble cast for “Mary Poppins Jr.”

“I just fell in love with the way we can touch the audience,” says Cheyenne. “You can create your own character, be creative and dance. I love singing now and I love that I can create a deeper connection with an audience using the talents God has given me.”

Additionally, Cheyenne says her father was a bit of an actor before his radio career. As a child, he always called her Lucy, referring to Lucille Ball. For this reason, she finds it fitting that she became infected with acting.

“He always called me that because I just make funny faces. Sometimes I’m a very cartoony character in real life, so it’s always been in my family,” she says.

The two have talked about doing a show together one day, but there are no immediate plans.

Cheyenne’s parents own a ranch near Preston, where they often spend Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The Becks are spending Thanksgiving elsewhere this year, but Cheyenne shared one of her favorite Turkey Day traditions with us.

“The morning after Thanksgiving, my dad gets out a waffle iron and we put all the Thanksgiving leftovers in it,” she says. “It’s better than you think. It’s fantastic.”

Cheyenne graduates from high school in May. She plans to move to Utah after high school and get involved in the Hale Center Theater.

She will also perform at the Grand Ole Opry in December as the opening act for the Christian pop duo King and Country. To get tickets or find out more, click here.

In an email newsletter to fans, Beck expressed his love for Cheyenne and how excited he is about her new album.

“From her childhood dancing in our living room to producing, singing and committing to this album today, she demonstrated a passion for creating beauty and meaning,” says Beck. “Her classical ballet background and years of experience as an actress give her music a depth of emotion and maturity that makes me incredibly proud as her father.”
