Gigi Donnarumma’s face bleeds with a nasty cut before being stapled up by the horror student challenge

Gianluigi Donnarumma was left bloodied and injured after a brutal kick to the face in Paris Saint-Germain’s game against Monaco.

The Italian took on Wilfried Singo in the Ligue 1 clash, but the Ivorian striker’s studs ended up hitting the goalkeeper’s face.

Donnarumma required treatment before leaving the pitch covered in blood in the 22nd minute of the game.

Amazingly, Singo, who had already received a yellow card, avoided a second yellow card as referee Francois Letexier deemed the collision an accident.

Donnarumma was then pictured with her face cruelly stapled together.

RMC Sport claims that despite the trauma, he showed up in the tunnel at half-time to wait for an explanation from the referee.

There was more bad news for PSG, who had gone into half-time leading 1-0 thanks to Desire Doue.

Eliesse Ben Seghir then equalized for Monaco before Breel Embolo made it 2-1.

Ousmane Dembele then equalized in the 64th minute before Gonaclo Ramos’ winner, but it was another poor performance for the French giants, who have been on everyone’s lips since the departure of Kylian Mbappé in the summer.

Luis Enrique’s side are facing rare title challenges from Monaco and Marseille due to poor form, and in Europe, where it really counts, the picture is even bleaker.

PSG currently sit 25th in the league stage of the Champions League, a position that would exclude them from the knockout stages of the tournament.

Luis Enrique was at a loss with many of his team selections and reportedly confused players by only announcing his lineups an hour before kick-off.

The European treble winner also struggled against underperforming strikers Dembele and Randal Kolo Muani, while Donnarumma also faced his wrath.

The Italian has been on the bench three times so far this season, with Russian Matvey Safonov filling in for his biggest game of the season so far away at Bayern Munich, where they lost 1-0.
