Gardeners pay attention, frosty morning come to an unexpected part of Michigan

The cold northeast wind in front of Lake Huron will present a large part of Michigan for a frosty morning.

Thursday will be a cool day for all of us here in Lower Michigan. A stiff north -east wind that drills over 20 miles per hour throughout Thursday, cold air is transmitted over the Huronsee in Lower Michigan.

The temperatures will only warm up on Thursday afternoon in the 1950s. The wind decreases on Thursday evening and lets the temperatures drop.

Friday morning will be frosty at every place where the low -temperature forecast is 35 degrees or less. Many places even fall to 32 degrees for one to two hours.

Here is the low temperature forecast from the model, which is usually most precise in this situation. This model predicts that we all get frost or that we will freeze the right to Friday morning. The only exception would be the warmer U -Bahn areas of Detroit as well as in the areas of Monroe and Adrian. Even Ann Arbor, Jackson, Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids would be frosty in this scenario.

It looks like it is the only time that you have to cover the plants, at least in the next 10 days. Are we fully finished after Friday with frost for the southern half of Lower Michigan? It appears with a warmer, normal prediction by May 20. After the soil is getting a lot warm next week, it will be difficult to have another frost in South Michigan.
