Four-star quarterback Brady Hart is a new transfer, transferring from Michigan to Texas A&M

It was announced Friday morning that four-star quarterback Brady Hart has transferred from 2026 to 2025, changing his commitment from the Michigan Wolverines to Texas A&M. He will sign with the Aggies next Wednesday, December 4th.

The Cocoa, Florida native committed to Michigan back in June, and the plan was always for him to remain in the class of 2026 despite already being out of high school. However, after the Wolverines replaced 2025-born five-star Bryce Underwood, plans appear to have changed for the 6-foot-1, 180-pound player.

This is a very unfortunate turn of events for Sherrone Moore and Co. Hart was a top 100 prospect overall in the 2026 class – we’ll see where he ranks now as a member of the 2025 class – and he had a very successful junior year. He completed 192 of 272 pass attempts for 3,293 yards and 32 touchdowns with just eight interceptions.

Currently, only three other uncommitted 2026 quarterback recruits have offers from Michigan — five-star Jared Curtis, five-star Ryder Lyons and three-star Hugh Price. There’s also Saline native Tommy Carr, the younger brother of Notre Dame quarterback CJ Carr, but Michigan would have to offer him first for them to even consider them.

The Wolverines now only have four-star cornerback Brody Jennings and three-star wide receiver Jaylen Pile available as members of their 2026 class.
