Fans are preparing for Scott Foster, Tony Brothers make Thunder-Timberwolves Game 2

The Oklahoma City Thunder has risen 1-0 in its series against the Minnesota Timberwolves, and many expect game 2 to be another intensive matchup. The biggest take away from game 1 was Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the calls he received, while the Timberwolves did not get any calls at their end. When game 2 appears, the fans follow how they found out who the referees will be.

“Scott Foster, Tony Brothers, Pat Fraher and JB Derosa are the referees for Timberwolves vs. Thunder Game 2,” wrote Reporter Clemente Almanza on X, formerly Twitter.

After the fans realized that Foster and the brothers would protect the same game, they made sure that they found themselves.

“Oh grace … that should be criminal to bring foster and brothers to the same crew,” wrote a user.

“Foster and brothers? Some gimmicks will take place. I just don’t know for whom,” wrote another user.

“Caruso and there will be no fouls by the end of the 3rd zero foul,” wrote a third user.

There are many fans who do not like to how foster and brothers have called games over the years, and it will be interesting to see how things develop in game 2.

Thunder called 1 for bad calls

After game 1 there was a lot of discourse on how Shai Gilgeous-Alexander gets his bad calls, and Nick Wright had a long message about the thunder guard.

“The dichotomy between the way the thunder guard – who is great, playoff, physical defense – and the way Shai initiates contact, and then reacts as if there is a sniper in the crowd and simply to the ground and soil and always after time after time it is extremely crazy,” said Wright.

In game 1 there was the feeling that the thunder got a lot of calls, but the Timber wolves on the other could not be so aggressive. Rudy Gobert shared his thoughts about the lack of bad calls and said that the Timberwolves would only have to play through.

“I don’t expect to get calls. (The thunder) are very hand -handed. There are things that are not called … they are relentless,” said Gobert. “We knew that we know that it grabs and smeared, but we know that we will not get all of these calls. We have to go through it consistently. We cannot allow the missed calls or missing pictures to go into the next piece and do what we should do.”
