Easy increase in rain opportunities to the weekend

The great weather story is still the lack of rain and an increased risk of fire, since we have dealt with our worst drought in the southwest of Florida for eight years.

The rain opportunities will continue to be very low for our Friday, and only a few stained showers develop this evening.

Saturday offers a few stained showers in the afternoon (10%), and then we will see a slight increase in rain opportunities on Monday (30-40%).

Unfortunately, the majority of the rain will concentrate on our internal areas closer to the Lake Okeechobee.

Expect more warmth and increasing humidity for the weekend if the daily height rise almost 90 degrees, which is very grateful for the beginning of May.

You will notice a little more cloud cover this weekend, but we will still work in a decent amount of sunshine.

The beach weather also looks good on the golf coast, but pay attention to a few morning shower near the coast on Sunday and Monday.
