Diamondback’s waste Corbin Burnes begins with loss against Dodgers

Los Angeles-Die Arizona Diamondbacks played the Los Angeles Dodgers closely this season in seven games, but the 3-1 defeat on Wednesday at the Dodger Stadium was another winning game in which they simply couldn’t put their division enemies away.

The D-Backs made a very good Corbin Burnes start to fall a series that they won sufficiently and fell 3: 4 against Los Angeles.

After a defeat for an extra inside on Tuesday, the Diamondbacks did not have much juice offensive, while a field burns three runs. A Teoscar Hernandez three-run Homerun with two runs with two outs in the sixth inning was the difference.

Five of the seven games that Arizona and Los Angeles played were decided with three or fewer runs, with each squad achieving a one -sided victory. You only see each other again on August 29th in the Dodger Stadium.

“Every time we play against them, it’s a good game,” said D-Back’s third Baseman Eugenio Suarez. “We should have had this series here, but it is what it is. We just have to continue.

“We came here to tell you that it will not be easy for you. You have to play good baseball against us and we have to play good baseball against you.”

Corbin Burnes’ almost dominated performance

Burnes sat down the first 11 rackets with which he was exposed to and only allowed two Baserunner through five innings.

He seemed to be on the same route as his previous two starts when he threw a combined inning of 13 shutout on May 10, including seven against the Dodgers at Chase Field.

The Dodgers finally built an inning in the sixth with a few earth ball singles that were not hit particularly sharply.

Miguel Rojas knocked into the middle when the Seraldo Perdomo shortstop stopped on a dive.

Mookie Betts jumped a single onto the left side, which jumped under the glove of Suarez, which moved to the left.

“Today the field was quick, I thought I got it,” said Suarez. “This last hop that hit the floor jumped off the ground.”

The D-Backs quickly suffered a customs from the Dodgers. Burnes excluded Freddie Freeman for the second time, but Hernandez was a slider who caught too much of the plate and shot him over the middle of the field.

Instead of a 1-0 lead, the D-Backs remained 3-1 in one night in which the offensive production was missing.

“There were a few bad parking spaces in the sixth inning,” said Burnes. “So it was a combination of mistakes there that finally led to the probably best of Teoscar.

Burnes delivered seven innings with three deserved runs and eight strikeouts. He expanded his goalless Innings series to 21 before Hernandez Homerun.

His curve ball was dominant and pulled nine hubs to eleven fluctuations, and he used it to end six of his punch -outs.

“The ball has come out really well in the past few weeks,” said Burnes. “Obviously it is never fun to lose, but the only swing of the bat really changed the course of this game. If not, it was another really good trip.”

Diamondbacks fight with runners in the goal position

The Diamondbacks fought to get something against Los Angeles’ starter for a second game in a row, after Yoshinobu Yamamoto turned them off for seven inning on Tuesday.

Dustin May was sharp and held Arizona on a run through six innings with eight rashes. He thrown 12.2 innings with three deserved runs against the D-Backs this season.

“I think he cut the ball a little,” said manager Torey Lovullo over May. “It was a 5% pitch, and I think some of our left -handed people were a little surprised by the success he had. He had a good command and worked both sides of the plate.”

Ketel Marte hit a solo shot in the fourth Inning May, but otherwise the right-handed man only allowed four singles and a walk. Arizona had his chance with runners at the corners and one in the sixth, but could not have been carried out.

The D-Backs had runners at the corners with two outs in the seventh when Perdomo and Corbin sing Carroll. However, Marte jumped to second place.

Arizona kicked in Wednesday. Last year the D-Backs met in such situations .260, which was second behind La

Overall, Arizona exceeded the Dodgers with 7: 5, but left seven men on the base on Wednesday. It lost a game in which Shohei Ohtani went 0-4 with two strikeout.

“We want to win every series,” said Lovullo. “We came close to last night, we were struck. We were close and beaten today. We have to find a way to close this gap and end these games.”

A missed opportunity set the diamondbacks on the 50-game brand to 26-24. It is better than your 24:26 record last year, but still not in the sense that you played so many competition games in which you simply couldn’t completely put together.

“We definitely didn’t play our best baseball,” said Burnes.
