Could Miro Heikanen return to the Dallas Stars in game 4?

Dallas – The Dallas stars have been without their defender Miro Hiskanen for more than three months.

“I still stay with what I projected that we would see him in the second round,” said Stars head coach Pete Deboer.

On Monday there were only a handful of players in the morning skate. The star from Finland was none of them when he got a planned day free.

Deboer mentioned that Heikanen will “be back” in Dallas on Tuesday morning, hours before her showdown with the Winnipeg jets.

“In his first game we will not bring him to the ice in 3 months, so we have to be smart,” admitted Deboer.

In the meantime, the rest of the star defense unit must be given a proper credit that was called up in Miro’s absence.

“The fact that we are in the situation in which we are without Miro was exceptional what our group did,” noted Deboer.

Two of the five goals of the stars in the game 3 against Winnipeg were attributed to defender Thomas Harley and journeyman Alexander Petrovic.

“It was hard (without Miro), but the boys survived it well, especially these playoffs and appear,” said Jason Robertson. “Whenever he comes back, we will definitely enjoy it.”

Deboer would not give his hand when Exactly Heikans will return to the line -up, but Petrovic spoke in an optimistic tone on Monday.

“Miro Back will … it’s massive,” smiled Petrovic. “To be honest, he looks good. Looks like he is ready to go, so I think that it will be a big boost for this group.”

On Tuesday, Deboer told Hekanen in the morning, and if everything was fine, he would expect Heikanen in game 4.
