CBSE class 12 Results 2025 Declared:The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) explained the results of class 12 on May 13, 2025 after completing the exams, which took place from February 15 to April 4, 2025.A total of 17,04,367 students who have registered for the examination of the senior school certificate, of which 16,92,794 and 14.96.307 were published. This year’s total passport percentage is 88.39%, which is due to a marginal increase of 0.41%compared to 2024 of 87.98%.With regard to the gender-specific performance, the girls continued their tradition of the over-concluded boy with a passport percentage of 91.64%, while boys were 85.70%. The gap between the two remains significant at 5.94%. In particular, transgender candidates achieved a 100% pass rate, an impressive improvement compared to 50% in the previous year. A total of 1.11,544 students achieved over 90%and 24,867 students reached over 95%. Among children with special needs (CWSN), 5,280 of 5,668 candidates with 290 points over 90% and 55 points over 95%.Southern regions dominate top rankingsThe southern and western zones led the way among the 17 CBSE regions. Vijaywada secured the highest regional passport percentage of 99.60%, followed by Trivandrum at 99.32%and Chennai at 97.39%. Results 2025Bengaluru also showed exceptionally well and recorded a passport percentage of 95.95%. The Delhi region was divided into East and west zones, both of which recorded high passport percentages – Delhi West at 95.37% and Delhi East with 95.06%. In the combined overall region in Delhi, the Delhi region recorded a passport percentage of 95.18%, whereby 2,91,962 of 3,06,733 students had passed.Variations across the countryWhile some regions celebrated almost perfect results, others remained. The lowest passport percentage was observed in Prayagraj with 79.53%. Noida (81.29%), Bopal (82.46%), Patna (82.86%), Dehradun (83.45%), Guwahate (83.62%) and Bhubaneswar (83.64%) were also recorded below the average results.
