Bryson Dechambeau, Talor Gooch share the lead at LIV Golf Korea

Bryson Dechambeau and Talor Gooch have the lead at 7-end in Liv Golf South Korea after the opening of 18 on Friday.

Decimbeau was in the Jack Nicklaus Golf Club in Incheon, South Korea, arch-free and dropped a birdie putt onto the last hole to end the first round on the ranking together with GOOF, the individual champion 2023, on the race track, which has recently been in shape.

Gooch drove separate stripes of three consecutive birdies and helped to take the team leadership over an eight-loose strips. The crew led by Brooks Koepka achieved a cumulative score of 10 in order to lead Dechameau and Crusers GC with a shot.

“Yes, it was a difficult start to the year,” said Gooch. “The game was quite rusted. It was nice at these earlier events to show some life and get a good golf going again. Hopefully this round will start a good rest of the season and we can channel some of these 2023 season again.”

Dechameau described his round as “exhausting”, but he had a hot putter to compensate for what he thought was a shaky game of iron.

“I’m looking forward to the weekend,” said Dechambeau, after seeing his 65th shot of the first round, a 10-foot putt that found the bottom of the tass. “It will be a fun fight.”

South Africa’s Louis Oosthuizen is bound in third place. He shot 66 on Thursday and his Stinger GC is fourth in the team that is achieved behind Rangoats GC.

Also 6 is England’s Richard Bland. You are two shots in front of Liv Mexico winner Joaquín Niemann (torque GC) by Chile, who is part of a four-way draw for fifth place.

Two players card recorded holes on Friday: South Africa Dean Burmester at the 208-Yard Par-3 13th and Australia Marc Leishman on the 172-YARD-PAR-PAR-FIED-HOLL.
