Aryna Sabalenka defeats Coco Gauff to win over record title Madrid Open

World No. 1, Aryna Sabalenka, won a record title Madrid Open on Saturday and defeated the Coco Gauff of the USA 6: 3, 7: 6 (3) in the final.

With the victory, Sabalenka Petra Kvitova’s record of three titles in Madrid reached and secured her 20th career title. After a dominant start to the year, in which she reached four consecutive finals and won 31 games, she also consolidated her place as No. 1 in the world.
