It is Florida softball against Georgia. Follow Live Score and Game Updates of the Katie Seashoch Pressly Stadium, while Gator is trying to sweep super regionally.

In the softball, the first innings often define a game. Friday florida softball scored three runs on a swing – by Reagan Walsh. This transmitted a smooth 6: 1 victory.

On Saturday, the Gators seemed on the way to another offensive explosion with the bases in the first loaded bases. Mia Williams and Ava Brown were on deck.

Both ruled out, and as on Friday it set the tone.

Uf left 13 runners on the base and fell 2-1 in Gainesville Super Regional on Saturday in game 2 of the Gainesville. This is a winner of the all-take-all-3 game of the Katie Seal Pressly Stadium, with the Victor progressing in the Women’s College World Series. The gators under coach Tim Walton are perfect 6: 0 in game 3 of Super Regionals.

The reason for winning on Saturday begins and ends with Lilli Backes. The Georgia Lefty deceived the Gator line -up all night. Her promotion ball, especially with two strikes, forced Florida, pitch, which Walton and and not much does.

This “aggressive” mentality left a variety of problems. Backes had no 1-2-3 inning. In the second, runners have first and third place. First semester -Phenom Taylor Shumaker joints. In the fourth, first and second, without outs. Shumaker property. In the seventh, second and third – Kenleigh Cahalan dives.

In the fifth, Uf scored her lonely run, but even that felt like a disappointment. Korbe Otis got a victim fly with the invited bases. However, this ball landed just in front of a Grand Slam. Cahalan erected to end the inning

Walton hesitated to blame a player or mention how a player had to climb up. Florida registered seven hits, but four came from Otis or Kendra Falby.

Georgia also fought aggressively for production. In the first two innings by Lyndi Rae Davis and Emily Digby, it had a good brand with two consecutive homers at an early stage. This forced Keagan Rothrock from the game. Walton returned to his strategy from the last post-season by starting the ACE games with back-to-back games. He didn’t have to do this this season due to the better pitching depth of UF.

The coach said he realized after the first inning that it was difficult to get back with backes. He made his first trip to the bullpen to tell them that they are ready. After Digby’s Homer, he pulled the plug and brought Olivia Miller. Miller and especially Kara hammock contained the bulldogs.

Georgia only scored two goals in front of Miller and hammock. The lonely inning created a serious attack on third place. Pinch Runner Precious Bross started home with a single, but a perfect limit from Shumaker to Mia Williams stopped the run.

The season for the third game still has to be decided.
