A collector of the popular Labubu doll has declared that the resale market had become a “battlefield” after the manufacturer in all in Britain in the British shops.

Ashley Bushey from Corby in Northamptonshire said that she had spent more than £ 1,000 for 13 dolls since December.

Ms. Bushey, a coffee shop supervisor, collects toys from the 1990s and 2000s and said that the dolls are “so ugly that they were cute”.

“I’m not even a big collector in the scheme of things. If you go in Facebook groups, I mean, some of them are crazy,” she said.

Pop Mart said on Friday that it had “overwhelming enthusiasm” of fans with long queues to see themselves outside of shops and people camping overnight.

It is said: “It is important that we ensure a safe, fair and comfortable shopping experience for everyone – both our customers and our business teams.

“We are currently working on a new approach for sales, with which everyone enables a fairer purchase chance.”

Does Ms. Bushey believe that this will stop re -sellers?

“Hopefully it will do it better. Hopefully you will have a kind of system … I don’t know how realistic you will stop the resellers.

“It doesn’t seem that they have these problems in other countries … it only seems to be in Great Britain that people turn to violence.”
