The US State Department recently published a travel consultant for level 1 for Switzerland. Travelers are recommended to drink normal precautions when traveling in the country.

A large European country has a new travel warning.

The US state office for consular matters of the US Ministry of State has issued level 1 travel advice for Switzerland. The agency provided no immediate reason why travel advice was published on May 20, but it is said to “drink normal precautions in Switzerland”.

According to a report by the French news agency France 24, there were recent protests and demonstrations during the latest Eurovision song competition. However, it is not confirmed that these protests prompted the United States to publish the travel consultant.

As a reference, the advisor of level 1 encourages “normal precautions” that are simply vigilant, but does not necessarily mean that a traveler should change his plans. Advice is the lowest at a level of four. Level 2 is “Expertise of exercise caution”, level 3 “Remember traveling” and Level 4 is “not traveling”.

Switzerland was recently classified in a study published by Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection as the fifth safest country in the world and even higher than Japan and Denmark.

The US agency also offers several helpful tips for travelers who visit Switzerland, including registration for the free Smart Traveler registration program (step), with which visitors can provide current and critical information in a foreign country. The agency also encourages travelers to take out travel insurance before trips abroad.

“Use your best judgment to avoid uncertain situations,” the Foreign Ministry says of its best practices for the safety of travelers. “Think ahead and create a security plan to deal with uncertain situations if you end in an end. Think about whether you bring personal pipe/alarms and take self -defense courses before traveling.”

The travel advice is done because the other government agencies also published warnings for travelers before the summer travel season. For example, the Center for Disease Control has published an alarm for an outbreak from Dengue fever in Brazil, Fiji, Mexico and other countries.
