Miley Cyrus reveals her secret “agonizing” medical emergency during the show with Dolly Parton

Miley Cyrus opened up about an “extremely agonizing” medical emergency that she hid to fans when she organized a New Year’s Eve special with her godmother Dolly Parton in 2023. “I had a medical emergency. I had an ovarian cyst rupture. We didn’t know exactly what was going on, so we did it.” But even though Cyrus admitted that the stage was “really hard for her”, he held the old saying that the show had to continue and managed to perform. “It was pretty traumatic because it was extremely painful, but I did the show anyway,” she said to Lowe. The NBC show, which went smoothly, saw Cyrus and Parton Duett on three of their hits – ball, Jolene and I will always love you. Elsewhere in the interview, Cyrus revealed that it has a large polyp in her neck that was caused by years of drinking and smoking, which has contributed to her unmistakable roast vocal tuning and the reason is why it is rarely more on tour. “It is extremely difficult to play with it because it is like running a marathon with ankle weights,” she admitted.
